Removing a user from the green key of any content restricts the user’s view of the content. This process can also be performed in a folder in the “Knowledge Base”.
By removing the user from a folder, the viewing of files and subfolders will be unavailable until they are reinserted into the green key.
To remove this permission, just follow the process below:
- Access the “Knowledge Base” from the left side menu.
- Enter the Board / Project that contains the folder you want to remove viewing permission from.
- Then click on “Board Folders”.
- Select the folder you want to remove member viewing from.
- Click on the “green key”, which appears just below the name of your folder.
- Deselect the user(s) who will not be able to see the documents in this folder.
- Click on “Save” and for this/these user(s) it will be as if the folder does not exist. They will not have access to any content linked to it.
See below the screenshots indicating the process to be carried out:
Remember: the “Company Folders” field does not allow restriction of member viewing, the green key is used within the folders of the boards and projects.
